Dear Valued Customers,
We hope this message finds you well.
By now, you may have heard that Super Typhoon Bavi has been sweeping across more than 10 provinces in China, including Jiangsu, where our factory is located.
To ensure the safety of our workshop employees, we made the decision to suspend production for one day during the peak of the storm. We are pleased to inform you that we have already resumed normal business hours and production activities as of today.
However, please be aware that transportation networks across the province remain affected:
Highways: Various national and provincial highways are still partially closed or have implemented temporary restrictions on vehicle types.
Airports: Major international airports – including Shanghai Pudong, Shanghai Hongqiao, Nanjing Lukou, and Hangzhou Xiaoshan – have significantly reduced and rescheduled flights due to safety concerns.
High-speed railways: Several major high-speed rail services in Jiangsu were partially suspended yesterday morning. While some have resumed operations since yesterday afternoon, the overall schedule is still being adjusted as the typhoon continues moving northward.
Given these ongoing disruptions, we strongly recommend that if you have shipments in transit or are planning to visit our factory, please get in touch with your respective regional manager in advance. They will assist you in rescheduling delivery dates or visit arrangements to ensure everything goes smoothly.
On a positive note, the typhoon is expected to move out of our province in the coming days. Many key transportation services – including high-speed railways, highways, and international airports – have already begun resuming normal operations. We anticipate a full return to normalcy within the next few days, and we will keep you updated on any further developments.
Thank you for your understanding and continued trust. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Best regards,
FCM Team
