Over this past weekend, FCM organized a friendly-family members focused team building trip by visiting two famous tourist attractions in Nanjing, one is a Buhhda temple located at Moutain Niushou, and another one is Laomendong, which is an ancient part of the city life in Nanjing. As we always say, we want our coworkers to have a work-life balanced life: they have time with their family members even if they work hard, and even if they are busy. This time, we have invited their family members and friends to join this team-building activity. 

1. Zen wisdom at the Buhhad temple at Moutain Niushou.

By taking the bus from the company to Moutain Niushou, we had great experiences by seeing various beautiful Budah statuses and thousands of beautiful artistic scenes, like enjoying great artistic drawings. We had a great chance to learn more about Buddhism. Also, we had great vegetarian cuisine at the temple to experience the Buddhist culture. By visiting the temple, many of our employees felt more relaxed than ever before. Some of the family members who went there are Buddhists.

2. Cultural Adventure in Laomendong.

During the afternoon of the past Saturday, we visited the historic area, Laomendong, of the Qinhuai District of Nanjing. By walking the street, we feel the wind from the ancient Chinese dynasties has been blown from the far past of the ages to our faces. It seems that we used to live and work in the same place before. We seem to have traveled thousands of years from the present to the past. By visiting the Laomendong, we also had the experience of knowing how wealthy people lived in the past, and many of us got a chance to taste various special local foods at the traditional restaurant nearby. We have also visited some famous historic buildings nearby.

Across different offices of our company, many our employees have given a group of mixed but positive views.

1. The Administrative office manager said when her friend and she were visiting the temple, they felt that their minds were refreshed.

2. Our dining hall attendant said she was enjoying the entire trip during and after the trip ended.

3. Due to religious beliefs and restrictions, some employees who did not go also expressed that they wanted to see the photos and videos we took during the trip and expect to join the next team-building activities.

4. Many of the family members of our coworkers also had a great experience by joing this team building activity by having great conversations with others and making new friends.

5. Some of the participants are very grateful for this team-building trip.

We believe that organizing a team building activity not only can make our team more connected with each other throughout our daily work to improve our professional services to our customers than without it does, but it also can help us to enrich our cultural experiences to make us more diversified by experiencing different team building activities that have different cultural backgrounds. It also shows that we are socially responsible to our coworkers and their family members. Our marketing manager, Marx Zhou, has stated that " we would like to keep doing the team building activities not only to make our coworkers feel that work is important, but we also want them to know we care about their life and family members, and we value their living standards and happiness. We also want them to have a work-life balanced life".
